Books Read and Red

Since I shared with you a few of the titles in the blue notebook I thought would also share a few reviews from its companion the red notebook.

The Little Prince by Antoine de St. Exupery
This sweet story of love, devotion and magic will make you cry. A classic for all time it is no surprise that is is so well loved.

One Sunday Morning by Amy Ephron
A small book, ironically about the smallness of ourselves. The story takes place in the twenties but is very similar to an Edith Wharton story. A young lady is accidentally seen leaving a hotel with a young man who is engaged to her friend. Her peers - who watch from a window - assume the worst of her, and the story of both them and the young lady takes off from there. Since I am an Edith Wharton fan I enjoyed this book very much.

Both the blue and the red notebooks are slim Mead 1 subject notebooks. I used to keep them bound together with one of the gold elastics that comes around stationary. Our cat, Marcelle, decided she liked the gold elastic better as a cat toy. So now I keep them together with a plain rubber band.
